Vande Mataram!
Namaskar, dear readers!
Every day on this journey brings something new —
New roads, new faces, new memories.
This morning started just like any other.
After some warm goodbyes from kind-hearted strangers, I began cycling toward Pondicherry.
☀️ Perfect Morning, Perfect Weather
The ride was smooth.
I stopped for a plate of dosa and a hot cup of tea — just what I needed to start the day strong.
Later around 11 AM, I paused for another tea break.
The sky was cloudy, the breeze was cool.
No heat. No rush. Just peace.
But just when I thought it was a perfect day…
😣 A Sudden Twist — The Body Speaks
Out of nowhere, a sharp twist in my stomach hit me hard.
I immediately searched for a petrol pump — luckily, I found one.
Rushed inside, used the toilet. Something was off.
I drank ORS from my bag.
Then spotted a tender coconut vendor — ₹50, and worth every drop.
I felt slightly better… so I continued riding.
But it didn’t last.
🚨 The Real Struggle Begins
The cramps returned — stronger.
Another petrol pump became my shelter.
Multiple trips to the toilet.
My energy was dropping fast.
I took medicine from my emergency kit and kept moving… slowly.
No food. No power left in the legs.
🪑 A Quiet Corner to Breathe
Around 3 PM, I found a small café.
I sat, drank water, tried to relax.
But my stomach had other plans —
Another rush to the washroom. Again. And again.
I was drained.
Truly — in these 144 days of cycling, I’ve never felt so helpless.
But kindness showed up.
The café owner saw my condition and offered me a place to rest.
I lay down and slept for nearly 1.5 hours.
Woke up, still weak — but alive.
Ate some plain Maggi noodles — just enough to stand again.
🛏️ End of the Day – Body Down, Spirit Up
I cycled a few more kilometers, slowly, and found a hotel.
Fever had started. I took a tablet and rested.
This day was more than just a physical challenge.
It tested my patience, pain tolerance, and mental strength.
🧡 “Even on the toughest days, your prayers keep me going.”
🙏 To You, My Fellow Rider in Spirit
This mission was never meant to be easy.
But it’s yours as much as it is mine.
Please keep me in your thoughts —
And tomorrow, with a bit of luck and a lot of heart,
I’ll rise again and ride toward Pondicherry.
Stay healthy. Stay kind. Stay with me.
