Vande Mataram, friends!
Warm greetings to all!

I’m Jojo Dada, and today I’m excited to share one of the most unforgettable milestones of my cycling journey — the day I rode 100 kilometers on my bicycle for the very first time.

From 40 to 100: Building the Confidence

I still remember my excitement when I first cycled 40 kilometers — I honestly thought I had set a world record! Of course, I later realized I had a long way to go. But that experience sparked something in me.

I kept pushing myself — first 50 km, then 60, and then 84 kilometers. And during that 84-kilometer ride, a thought crossed my mind:
“If I can reach 84, what’s stopping me from 100?”

The Big Day: January 14, 2018

It was a crisp winter afternoon on January 14, 2018. I set out from Lalbagh at 10:00 AM, with one goal in mind — to complete my first century ride.

My route:
Lalbagh → Jangipur → Sagardighi → Rajarampur Ghat → Home.

As I cycled toward Jangipur and then Sagardighi, the roads unfolded with breathtaking beauty. After crossing the thermal power plant, the terrain became more challenging — winding roads, gentle slopes, and serene villages with ponds and lakes on either side.

Scenery That Touched the Soul

Everywhere I looked, life was in full bloom — people bathing, ducks swimming, green fields stretching endlessly, quaint mud houses, and tall trees forming leafy canopies over the road. It felt like cycling through a painting.

I paused many times to soak it all in — and, of course, to take photos that would capture these precious memories.

The Final Stretch

Eventually, I made my way toward Rajarampur Ghat, a road I had traveled many times before — but never on a bicycle. Experiencing it on two wheels brought a different kind of joy, a personal victory.

And finally, as the sun dipped lower in the sky, I returned home. My cycle’s meter showed 101 kilometers.
I had done it.

What I Learned That Day

That ride taught me a powerful truth:

If we truly want something, there is nothing we cannot achieve.

I completed 100 kilometers on a bicycle — spending just ₹65 in total. It wasn’t about the money or the distance. It was about pushing limits, believing in myself, and discovering the courage within.

From One Ride to a Global Dream

That day ignited a bigger dream in me — to travel the world on a bicycle, raising awareness about:

Your blessings, love, and support give me the strength to move forward. This is just the beginning.

Thank you for being part of this journey.
Let’s keep moving — one pedal at a time.
